What is the ACA open enrollment period?

ACA open enrollment runs from November 1 through January 15 each year. Outside this window, you can only enroll if you have a qualifying life event (job loss, marriage, birth of a child, move) that triggers a Special Enrollment Period (SEP).

How do I qualify for a health insurance subsidy?

If your household income is between 100% and 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), you likely qualify for an Advance Premium Tax Credit (APTC) that directly reduces your monthly premium.
